Can You Burn Laminate Flooring In A Wood Burner

I think i would be cautious with burning wood flooring.
Can you burn laminate flooring in a wood burner. This morning i dropped a very hot burner from the stove off onto my laminated wood floor. I ve had my woodburner for approx 4 5 years now and never burnt proper logs. Up to 85 per cent of the mass of laminate flooring can be put back into the manufacturing process in the form of wood chips or fibers. What should i do.
I have a small barbas unilux 5 5kw wood burning stove which is very clear that only hardwood should be burnt in it. I burn whatever i can get my hands on fence posts pallets pine furniture laminate flooring offcuts etc. Medium density fiberboard this is a health hazzard for your lungs when you cut it with a power saw. The top layer contains an aluminum oxide coating that would burn into the air which can be harmful if breathed in.
Apart from paper and firelighters that s all i ve ever used. Thanks to new technological processes laminate flooring is even recyclable. You and i do not know if for example that coating contains lead or not. Is it enviornmentally safe to burn laminate flooring scraps should they be recycled or put in landfills.
You might also consider local regulations. Even though laminate flooring consists of 80 wood they cannot be safely burnt or incinerated like other wood products. Whereas you can repair a burnt wood floor by sanding out the burn mark you can t sand laminates at all without making the disfigurement far worse than it already is. It is my understanding that lead was still used in some varnish up to the mid 1970 s.
Or can that board be repaired. Complete floors which you wish to dispose of on the other hand should be taken directly to a local landfill site. The laminates are made of mdf.
