Can You Install Kitchen Cabinets Over Laminate Flooring

I m getting ready to install laminate tile in the kitchen.
Can you install kitchen cabinets over laminate flooring. The proper installation would be to install the cabinets and then install the flooring around the cabinets. That is far too thin to get any form of quot decent quot. It has it s place in the market just like vinyl tile hardwood carpet and many other types of floor covering. Remove the cabinets and screw a plywood filler piece to the subfloor about inch.
The good thing about laminate flooring is that it s easy to repair. It may or may not include removal of old flooring. To answer your question yes you can install cabinets directly over a laminate floor. Vinyl is much more appropriate.
