I worked at a copy shop and laminated things all the time.

Can you laminate sonogram pictures. My mom needs copies of them to display at my baby shower this weekend. Have any of you made copies successfully. These are heatless and won t ruin the photos. I have read a few things that said not to laminate ultrasound photos because the heat will turn them black.

Re how best to preserve ultrasound pictures anonymous i have not tried laminating it but since the image is formed through a process of heating the paper i think i think the heat from lamination would ruin the image. If you re planning on laminating baby scans stop. You will need to use the cold setting because heat can damage the photos especially if they were printed on an ink jet printer. The heat from the laminator will destroy the image as it will cause it to disappear.
