Even if you ve never installed a floor before it s easy to put new floors in your home in less time with just a few simple tools.
If you really can t get the carpet up you will have to put down another plywood sub floor over the carpet and then install the pergo on that. No carpet over laminate. And then lay the carpet. Anyone have experience with pergo on concrete.
Pergo floors are more than just beautiful and durable they re also easy to install. Tile would be too cold. If you have an old slate floor and you don t like the look of it anymore but you don t want the work and expense of ripping it out one easy solution is to lay a floating floor over it. All the web sources say if you put down a vapor barrier first pergo is ok.
